Grey’s Anatomy: Did Katherine Heigl Open Her Mouth One Time Too Many?
Rumor has it that Grey’s Anatomy start Katherine Heigl may have put her foot in her mouth one time too many. The blonde beauty, who stars as Dr. Izzie Stevens on the ABC drama, reportedly withdrew her name from Emmy nominations last month, saying “I do not feel I was given the material this season to warrant a nomination.”
Grey’s insiders, especially the writers, were outraged by her comments, and as a viewer I have to agree with them—with the filming season cut short due to the Writer’s Strike, the Grey’s scripts came back better than ever at the end of the season and Heigl’s character was given as much good material as the rest of the cast.
Adding fuel to the fire are rumors that Heigl is purposely making nasty comments about Grey’s so that he can be released from her Grey’s contract to pursue her movie career.
Recent buzz also posts the possibility that Heigl’s character, Izzie, will be killed off this season. This would surely put the nail in the coffin for the popular show, so let’s hope it doesn’t come to that!
