According to ABC insiders, Katherine Heigl has nothing to worry about—at least as far as her job is concerned. Her Grey’s Anatomy character, Dr. Izzie Stevens will NOT be killed off this season and Heigl will be staying on with the show. This is great news for Grey’s fans but maybe not such great news for Heigl, whom many people think is purposely trying to anger the Grey’s producers with  her recent comments about the show (Heigl is locked into a contract which some think she’s trying to get out of in order to pursue her movie career).

There are also SPOLER ALERTS about the fate of Heigl’s character. It is rumored that Izzie will be diagnosed with a brain tumor this season. If this plot spoller is true, which I DOUBT by the way (as show creator Shonda Rhimes is notorious for keeping plot spoilers top secret) then I guess it would be Dr. McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) to the rescue!
