Big Brother 10: Just Call It the Dan Show

Published by jorty at 9:50 am under reality TV Edit This

Dan did it again on Big Brother 10. After winning the Head of Household competition last week, Dan also hit it big by winning an intriguing luxury competition.

Dan’s whole strategy this season has been to act weak in the beginning, admitting that he had thrown several of the first few competitions. He’s also been careful to hide his “Renegade” alliance with Memphis.

But now that it’s down to the Final 4, Dan is playing hard and proving that he’s one of the most clever contestants in Big Brother history.

Last nights’ luxury competition was a complicated puzzle game. Players were allowed 3 guesses each to solve the puzzle, which was a popular phrase. Jerry and Keesha blew their 3 guesses out early. Memphis showed once again that he is not a skilled player, giving a lame guess. Dan came in with a few good guesses, once of them being the winning phrase (”Bury the Hatchet”).

Dan’s luxury prize was a helicopter trip to a remote beach. He was given the choice to take one of the remaining 3 houseguests with him, or a member of the jury. Dan wisely picked a jury member, Michelle, but he made a mistake in telling the others that he opted not to take one of them.  While they don’t know yet that he’s taking a jury member,  he should have just kept his mouth shut and acted like he wasn’t allowed to bring anyone with him. This could come back to haunt him at jury time, if Dan makes it to the final two.

At the end of the show, Dan nominated Jerry and Memphis for eviction. Nominating Memphis was a ploy to throw Keesha off about the Renegade alliance, but it was a risky move that could backfire. I’ll give Dan credit- he goes for some daring game play!
