Brothers & Sisters airs on ABC on Sunday nights. This Emmy award winning show is one of the best dramas on television. No crime scenes, no gory hospital scenes, just a drama about an American family, the Walker’s. If you’re not watching it, here are 7 reasons why you should be.

1.       It’s an easy transition after Desperate Housewives. After the cartoony Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters offers a refreshing, realistic drama.

2.       The music. Great Indie tunes are featured as background music on this show. I download a new one almost every week.

3.       Sally field rocks as a matriarch. Her Gidget days are long behind her, but Field looks great- and it’s fun to see her play a Grandma.

4.       Calista Flockhart isn’t all that annoying after all. Even if you didn’t like her Ally McBeal character, you’ll like Flockhart as Kitty Walker. She’s smart and funny.

5.       You’ll probably see a family more dysfunctional than your own. The Walker family can be a train wreck at times- which may make you feel better about your own brood.

6.      Hot brothers.  Dave Annable, Matthew Rhys and Balthazar Getty play the Walker brothers. All of them are easy on the eyes.

7.       Rob Lowe is also in it. Nuff said.
