I was never much of a Bugs Bunny fan. I don’t know why, but Bugs just “bugged” me. But every Halloween, I thoroughly enjoyed the annual airing of the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes cartoon, “Broom-Stick Bunny”.

In case you never saw it or don’t remember it, it was a Bugs Bunny short. Bugs is dressed up for trick or treating—as a witch. When he knocks on Witch Hazel’s door, she is envious because he is an uglier witch than she is.

She invites him in for tea, which is really a beauty potion. He removes his witch mask to take a sip and voila— she sees he is really a rabbit and is no longer a threat but instead he is an ingredient for a potion she is brewing. In his attempt to flea from her, Bug hands her the beauty potion and she carelessly drinks it. Witch Hazel transforms into a sexy woman and she is mortified!
