Popcultured Classic Movie: Bad Ronald
In the spirit of Halloween, I’ve decided to reminisce on a couple of movies that scared the bejeezus outta me as a kid. The 1974 TV-movie,“Bad Ronald”, was one of them. Egad, this movie was scary!
On weekend nights in the late 1970’s. I’d spend the night at my friend Ellen’s house. Ellen was always one to turn on a scary TV movie at 1:00 AM and “Bad Ronald” was one that replayed often. It starred Scott Jacoby as a creepy dude who lived behind a wall in someone’s house. He was obsessed with one of the house’s female residents, played by Cindy Eilbacher.
The plot of the movie was extremely twisted, but it was bad late-night television at its best. If you can find this one on late night, watch it for a Halloween scare.
